Does a dedicated VPS need port mapping?

Products with a dedicated public IP usually do not need port mapping. You can connect directly using the public IP and port shown on the product details page.

Only NAT products usually require checking port mappings on the product details page.

Will the IPv6 address change?

IPv6 addresses are usually assigned statically. Please use the product details page and the actual system configuration as the source of truth.

If you need a domain name to follow the server IP, you can configure DNS or DDNS yourself.

When do I need to check port mapping?

If the product name or details page mentions NAT, shared IP, or port management, follow the NAT product instructions and use the mapped port.
