What should I do if a control panel operation fails or the server is unreachable?

Check your email first

During node maintenance or outages, we send notifications by email. If your server suddenly becomes unreachable, or the control panel shows an error like Login to Proxmox host ... failed, please first check your recent emails (including the spam folder). During maintenance, there is no need to submit a ticket; just wait for service to be restored.

Control panel operation errors

If you see a backend task error when rebooting, reinstalling, powering on, or powering off a server from the control panel:

  • Wait a few minutes and try again.
  • Do not repeatedly submit the same operation.
  • If the error still appears after about 30 minutes and you have not received a related maintenance email, submit a ticket.

Server stopped

If the virtual machine sends large amounts of abnormal traffic (for example, port scans or attack traffic), or keeps resources fully occupied for a long time, the server may be stopped. Please log in to investigate, and reinstall the system if necessary.

Please provide in your ticket

  • Service ID.
  • Operation type, such as reboot, reinstall, or power on.
  • Screenshot of the error.
  • Approximate time when the error appeared.
